Pale gold with a small bead; it is a refreshingly fruity sparkler that offers quality and excellent value. Created from Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Chardonnay grapes in the Charmat method, it has a fresh floral aroma with hints of citrus and toast and a full, long finish. 
Paul Cheneau Brut Blanc de Blancs Lady of Spain Cuvee (($9.95)A Spanish cava with French flair. Even though this sparkling wine is produced from the grape varietals Macabeo, Xarello and Parellada of Penedès in Northeast Spain, it cannot escape the French roots of its winemakers: the blending and aging techniques are from champagne and the result is a fresh, citrusy aroma with a full finish and elegance. | |
