Cooking Buddies Class:   Chef Jeanette will teach Parents and junior. Armed with recipes and ingredients, you will work together as a team to create your own culinary masterpieces. Class is priced at $85 for one parent and child, $40 for additional child.

 Culinaria: An Introduction to the American Kitchen  for those new to the United States and its food markets. Taught fully in Spanish by Chef Jeanette, this course explores ingredients from herbs and spices to cuts of meats and the bounty of vegetables. Students will get familiarized with the English names of these ingredients while learning new techniques and recipes coming from a wide range of cuisines such as French, Asian, and Italian. The course is divided into 4 sessions: Knife Skills & Soups, Fish Entrees, Poultry Entrees and Meat Entrees. Classes meet once a week on Tuesdays for four weeks and is priced at $399 per student.

At these interactive cooking sessions, Chef Cindy Hutson shares the secrets of her Cuisine of the Sun. Guests are teamed up in groups of 6 with a chef from Cindy’s kitchen at each table to guide them through their lesson and are taught the art of pairing wine and food. Everyone will take home a goodie bag along with a recipe booklet of what they prepared that day.

In each class, Chef Clay Conley will share his cooking tips and prepare the ultimate gourmet lunch along with student chefs in the magnificent marble-clad open kitchen of Azul. A sumptuous three-course tasting menu is matched with flights of premium wines by sommelier Cynthia Betancourt.  Student chefs will receive recipe cards and cooking notes for easy step-by-step reference. Upon completion of the class, graduates will receive a certificate of participation and a signature Azul apron.
Classes are held Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.  to 1 p.m.
